Protect the West Coast (PTWC) urges the public to appeal an approval on www.ripl.co.za for Whale Head Minerals to dredge for heavy minerals along a portion of Northern Cape coast using a mining method that scientists warn can have catastrophic effects on the nearshore marine environment.
